usually when people complain about fuzziness they mean the screen resolution is not set correctly. Especially on notebooks this can lead to a 'fuzzy/blurry look'.

Go to Start Menu, Settings > Control Panel and open display.
go to the settings tab. See the slider for screen resolution? Slide that a little to the right and press apply. The computer will now show you what that would look like. If you don't like it select 'no' and set the slider a little further to the right until you get something you like.

If you get a black screen it means your monitor can't handle that resolution (you have moved the slider too far to the right). Just wait ~15 seconds and your computer will revert to the previous setting.

Once you are happy click OK and that's that. Of course you could be talking about something else completely as your question is a bit ambiguous.

so when you open up a word .doc you cant read that same with notepad . and same with internet explorer or firefox . is your os not set in us/english ?

try changing your screen resolution.
