Computer data is not shared unless you set it up to share with a share folder. The only sharing is the wireless connection. Your firewall will offer protection from someone using the line and you can set up a password to protect your system. If you password the network, no one can use it except those computers in your network.

the only info that is shared is what you select to share. if you don't want to share anything then you don't have to..
