our pc is rebooted..now am trying to redownload yahoo messeger but it always says "interenet explorer cannot open the interent site http://messenger.yahoo.com/download.ph-------what am i going to do?

A friend gave me a IBM thinkpad laptop. It has windows 2000 professional. I think it origianlly had windows 98 and it was converted into 2000 I think. Anyway, It has a password that I dont know. Can I somehow bypass the password? or, I would even wipe out the whole computer and start over with windows 98. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you

How hot can a pc get before its too hot. My computer on hot days gets around 62*C is this bad? How can I cool it it already has many fans in it and all they seem to do is make it louder as they spin faster and they have no effect on the computer, please help.

my computer gives me a message saying (low disk space) .. and i really don't have any extra unused programs or stuff on the ( disk:c) .. i have all the large space in disk D.. i really dunno what to do.. btw it doesn't want to perform certain tasks like writing files to a cd for example.. i'd appreciate ur help!! thx

I was just wondering how good Sing Star is for the PSP, I ws thinking of getting one or are they something that you use once and dont use again. I bough buzz but i didnt think much of buzz. Is Sing Star better. Any information you have is great.

where on the start up screen(post) can you find out what type of motherboard the p.c has
i could use many peices of software but there is no operating system installed on this particular p.c at the moment so this isnt a option
is there a program that you can make into a bootable diskette so you can run it in dos
any ideas

i have overlocked a amd athlon xp processor from 1.15ghz to 1.53ghz by altering one setting in set up
unlike normal overclocking were i would use small increments to reach this clock speed i just altered one setting and the clock speed changed from 1.15ghz to 1.53ghz(1800+)
would it be possible to overclock this processor even more,i would like to take it to at least 1.8ghz,but i would be made up if i could get it up to 2ghz
would it be stable at 1.8 or 2ghz,or would you leave it at 1.53ghz
i only asked this question as i have heard that athlon processors are one of the easiest to overclock
i have had the p.c running at 1.53ghz for 3 hours now and its running fine,no crashes and i have evn ran 3dmark and aquamark3 through it with no problems
any advice for a novice overclocker
