Now that you have told the world about your pirate copy of Windows. Who knows who will come knocking on your door. If everybody pirated then the companies that make the software would go out of business. If that happens there will be no more downloads. I hate to raise the small matter of ethics, but if you don't have the genuine programme, then you must be using a pirated copy and if so, you are not entitled to get updates. Indeed, doing so will put you in breach of worldwide copyright laws and others should not be advising you how to circumvent Microsoft's restrictions. Currently, even without a genuine copy of Windows, you can still download security updates. However, you will not be able download and install other Microsoft software, such as Windows Defender (Microsoft's anti spyware program) and Windows Media Player 11.

leave the guy alone,Bill Gates has enough money and if he produces such bug infested operating systems,i dont blame people for copying it.Mate type into google how do i remove geniune windows certificate,it should return a website were you can download a small zip file that removes it from ur registry.Open this and run it and restart computer
Next VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!! open up control panel,security panel and click on automatic updates.Now uncheck automatic updates and check : notify me but dont automatically download or install them.Now when it says updates avalible right click on icon a list will appear for updates scroll through them and uncheck windows geniune certificate(keep unchecking this if it ever appears)and uve got ur updates back hope i helped you cheers buddy!!!

Theres' a setting available that you have to selcet. What that option does is to download the updates automatically without interrupting you.
Check your PC's Security Center from the Control Panel and selct the updated to be automatically obtained.

i've heard a program called big fix, will install them for you. although ms is getting $$ hungry again, not sure if it will work. also you could try msupdates instead of windows. on the other hand an upgrade lic cost less then a $100 today because vista is so close. that would give you the genuine.

while you're worried approximately disk area, vista isn't the respond for you. DL the updated on another PC that is not running a pirated copy, and transfer them to yours... That is only way b/c updates are downloaded by first validating your product key and HASH..
