Working with a slow computer can be time consuming as programs/ applications take a long time to start. This problem is more pronounced in computers which have been used for 6 or more months. More information at http://fixit.in/slowcomputer.html

No need to re-install. Geeshhh! Just do a disk cleanup and disk defrag. Always a good idea after a major update.

Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>Disk Cleanup

Follow the same path and choose Disk Defrag.

For good measure, download and run CleanUP. I run it every time I log off and have never had any problems.

Free disk space, make your computer run better/faster and protect your privacy - all in one easy solution. All for free!

No, when I installed SP2, it didn't slow down at all. Maybe you did something wrong? Or there is some kind of conflict.
