i m new with PC and i know its illegal for the act of hacking but the fact is i always have the fantasy to get involed into the world of hackers or hacking...not for any illegal act but i think its for the satisfation that a normal human being can have the power of gaining access into any where they wish to be in,gaining access into somewhere which others cant,which noone can stop them....

I want to find all the files in the current directory that contain the expression 'WhichFilesAmIIn'. How do I do this if I need to use Linux?
I know the 'find' command can be used to find files but, as far as I know, I can only give some expressions for the file names and not what's inside.

my first computer was a gateway and it ran great for 7 years. My latest is a 3 year old Dell. The Dell runs good too! I'm not sure which of the two to buy as my next computer. I will probably buy one of the two next year. Any recommendations?

I have recently got a wag54g wireless router which is great but ever since i got it I can download from shareaza. I set up port-forwarding ok but it also asked me to change network connections to static IP, When I do this the intternet no longer works. Can any1 out there help me?

Hi,

The other day at my office, the IT support guys showed up and typed a command into my run window. It opened up a nice User Interface and allowed them to change the system settings.

I installed the nero 7 demo and i have had nothing but trouble. I uninstalled it and still cant seem to get my vedios to work problably now. After I click on my vedio file to open this error pop's from Nero saying advrcntr2.dll and it just keeps poping up. HELP

My computer brings up a blue screen saying the following:

a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to ur computer

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
if this is thtime u have seen this stop error screen, restart ur computer. if this screen appears again , follow these steps,

check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed . if this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any ..... blah blah blah.

can someone give me help...and I HAVE tried repairing the partition, it just brought up the same error

I just opened a free account with AIM Messenging from AOL....it welcomed me, etc....when I go into AIM and sign in...it keeps giving me a message that I cannot get into AIM messaging until I unblock my pop-up blockers....so I did this and I still get the same message........I am completely frustrated and can't get AOL to help me. DOes anyone know how I can get into it? I've even opened an AOL mail account and this doesn't help either. Same old message is to unblock pop=ups....If i did this already what else should I do.....have already restarted computer. THanks

Im trying to reinstall windows xp on a harddrive that already has xp on it. After going to the bootscreen and it asking me to continue with installing windows xp, it takes me to this blue screen and telling me i cannot continue and have to reboot. I rebooted the computer and it takes me to the same blue screen. What could be wrong?
