I can not find the cord that goes from the speakers to the outlet. I guess I wil have to buy one, but what do I get? I tried one I had around the house,but when I turned it on it put out a loud hum. I assume the voltage is wrong,but I am not real sure. Can someone please help me so I can get some sound. I have messed with this for awhile and can not seem to fix the problem. Thanks in advance

If someone burns a song onto a CD-R and then makes a mistake by putting one on it u dnt want, how do u take that song off? its not a CD-RW . Is there a way to take that song off of the CD-R? If so please tell me how i go about doing this, in step by step instructions. thanx.

I have two videos that are over 100 MB. One is 127 MB and the other is 107 MB. I need to get them down to 100 MB or under for them to fit on YouTube. I don't have video editing software. Is there any way to compress or shorten the video to decrease the file size?

I ask this question because someone answered my questions regarding uninstalling Win2000 and re-installing Win98. They suggested that I boot up my computer with the Win98 boot disk or CD - then use CD-ROM Support and then it should take me to the A: prompt - after that I type in format c: and continue with installing Win98.

Just wondering if I format would it erase everything on my C: Drive. The reason I want to go back to Win98 is because of old programs that were working but now they are not because of incompatibility with Win2000.

In addition, I have a FAT32 drive and not that other one that starts with an N.

OK my old speakers and sound card were crappy so I assumed it was their fault that I had weird crackly noises. Well I got a new sound card and new speakers but they have crackly noises too! I can hear my mouse wheel turning and I can hear my mouse scrolling over the Windows menus through the speakers. They're more pronounced when I have the volume up but a lot of programs are really quiet so that really exacerbates the problem. What can I do to fix this? I have my CD player volume all the way down in the volume control because I know that makes noises when the CD is spinning but what else can I do?

Quick question: is the XP cd (the Operating System CD) that is needed for Repair Installation the same as the XP Restore CD? The only cds that came with my comp (as far as i can remember) were the Restore CDs (CD 1 and 2). I do not want to restore my computer to factory settings, only want to go through Repair installation, so, yeah, can you do that from the XP Restore CD, or do you need another kind of XP cd? Thanks.
