How come my yahoo points dont get added to the points I have?

I keep getting emails saying I have the best answer & earned 10 points but they never get added to my points. Am I missing something?

I am sure Of my points when I start it is not a mistake on my part. I do get the two points immediately when I answer a question I just dont get the ten points for my answer being the best

That's just a notice of it, it should have already happened

Mine are always added on.
