Ive rcently bought a couple off ps2 games and they are blue at the back and wont play on my ps2 but silver backs do why is this and can i fix it thanks very much

I agree that it is a laser problem. You could try a cleaning kit to see if that would fix the problem, it may or may not but it's worth a try. If that does not fix it then most likely the laser lens is out of alignment and you will have to send it in for service. If it is still under warranty, most likely they will fix it at no charge. If you are out of your warranty (and you don't have an extended one) then you will have to pay for the repair or it may be wise to just buy a new PS2, depending on how old the one you have is.

Your laser is in poor condition... send it in they will replace it for free.
