What will doing the System Restore actually do?

This is third time I've asked. I understand military time! Don't explain that. Don't explain how to "fix" my computer to put it on regular time. Don't tell me how to set the time on my clock in the task bar. Don't send me to any websites explaining time zones. I already understand ALL of that.. I just want this single answer from somebody! Is the answer 09:26:43???? I have answered over 1,000 questions, and I only ask a few. Can somebody just tell me what time this would be! I am old and never had the opportunity so many young people have today to learn all about computers. In my younger days, we used a sliderule! We didn't even have calculators. They weren't invented yet. I think it's only fair that some kid or anyone just give me an honest answer to this one question.

i turned on my comp and as usual, it started normally...but then, when i reach the page with the 'windows xp' icon and the loading thingy at the bottom of it, the thing jst keeps on loading. iv'e waited for a few minutes but it's stil loading...i've tried using safe mode and system recovery but when i tried to restart it, it's stil da same...i've scanned my comp for viruses and it looks like there r no viruses in my comp....wat shud i do??what's happening??

My pc is restarting itself everytime after it logs in. I restarted it in safe mode and it didn' t restart alone. I ran the Mc Affee antivirus and found no viruses at all. I ran Anti spyware programs which found a few of spyware, removed them but still have the same problem when i start in normal mode. Anyone can help plz?

I am trying to open up my movie player on my computer and when I double click on it, it appers on the toolbar, but nothing opens up. So when I click on the toolbar where the movie player is, it comes from the side of the screen and goes to the toolbar. I click on it again, and it opens on the side of my screen. How do I get it over to the middle of the screen when I can't click on it to move it over?

half of the icons in my systray. If I go back and do a restart again the whole set of icons reappear. I ran msconfig to disable some of my starup programs but some of the icons I wanted disappeared while some of the icons I didn't want remained. How could I print out a copy of the startup programs so that I could learn more of the details about each one? There is no menu item for "print" and the printscreen key does nothing.Please help!

I only had 1.5 GB of space left on my C:\ drive.
So I opened outlook and dumped 37 THOUSAND Emails.
(yes.... I said thousand.....damn I hate spam...)
It took about 7 min to clear.
Now I only have 1.29 GB free...
WTF? Can anyone explain this?

YES I dumped the deleted files folder.
There is nothing in the recycle bin (outlook dosnt use it anyway)

Yes I tried to recompact the mail directory file.

No there were no other programs running.
