I only have a CD-R Drive but i would like to play movies on it.

NO!!! These people are soo wrong.
All you have to do is place your DVD player on top of your tower, and there you have it...A DVD player.

If you don't have room for a DVD drive get an external one, otherwise you can't play DVD's on a CD drive. The format that is used for writing the data to the DVD is not able to be capable of being read by the CD drive.
