I was stupid and went to a porn site now I have a flashing notice on the lower right hand corner of my desktop that says VIRUS ALERT your computer is infected. Critical System Error. System detected virus activities. They may cause critical system failure. Please use antimalware software to clean and protect your system from parisite programs. Click here to get all available software. Well I don't want it I have ran my Symantic Antvirus and My spydoc. And I don't know how to make it stop flashing, Please Help. I know better to ever go on the porn site again.

I was on the internet last night and my laptop (dell inspiron e1505) suddenly stopped and a blue screen came up with white words that said something about a memory parity error. i couldn't restart my computer because the whole system had been halted. i finally got it going again by unplugging it and taking the battery out, then putting it back in again. i thought it was all better, but then it just happened again! I did the battery thing again, but this time i left the computer off, because if it happened twice, it'll happen again and it my hurt my laptop to restart a lot. so anyway, can you please tell me what might be wrong and how i can fix it? thank you!!!

Is it a good thing to position the screen at 20 or 30 degrees from the straight line of the keyboard, in other words to position it NOT directly in front of your head but a bit on one side, left or right so that you have to turn your head when watching the screen? This way when you want to think or rest you DON'T have the light or the pictures anyway straight on your eyes. Or is it a bad idea for the neck muscles and the back?

I have the same problem as the others in this thread however, it's a little more complicated. What happened was my computer locked up, on restart it gave me /WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/CONFIG/SYSTEM Files may be corrupt or missing. I loaded the set-up cd to try and repair the problem and that's when i got the PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA etc... message

I'm am completly unable to do anything, I can't load in safe mode, absolutley anything.

I'm running XP pro, I'm completely lost with this one so if anyone has any help please let me know.

i downloaded it and it was perfect i used divx to convert it and then when i burnt it to dvd the words and the mouths of the characters don't match any idea were im going wrong also when i burn a dvd it asks if i want 2 verify it after burning whats the diffrence if i do or don't verify it ?

I have Dell computeer, has Windows 2000 professional system. I didn't use this computer for one month. Now it gives me this problem. When I go to Help and support under Status info it says my virtual memory is too low at D: 37% low and C: 17% low. But when I go to System info it says Total Virtual Memory is 2.00 GB and Available Virtual Memory 1.94. This just doesnt make sense to me. I have Windows XP and I just added a 512 RAM stick of memory cause I thought It might help this although it has speeded it up it hasnt changed the amount of Virtual Memory at all. How do you get more Virtual Memory? Isnt Virtual Memory actually on your hard drive so adding more Rams really wouldnt help anyway? Can somebody help me with this that is really good at computers? I have created a chart in my spreadsheet and I would like to format it but the only button that works on my chart toolbar is 'chart type'. I have tried clicking on the 'chart objects' button to display the drop down menu because I want to change the title but nothing happens.

Only the 'chart type' button is highlighted on the toolbar, all the rest are shaded if you know what I mean ( I'm unable to use the other buttons for some reason).

Can anyone PLEASE help, I need to finish this spreadsheet today.
