TVs don't have the resolution that computer monitors have. Set the screen resolution to 640 x 480 for the best picture but keep in mind that even that low resolution is about double the resolution that a TV can reasonably display.

The best you can do with a normal TV is 640x480 mode.
Even then it will look bad. You need a HDTV that can do 1024x768
if you really want to use a PC on a TV

that's because the resolution of a tv is not good i think it's only in the 300 dpi range....
