Can I send a pic to a cell phone from a computer? It would be to a cell phone number not a mobile addy.

I would like a free program that "alerts" me when I have something coming up. If you could set specific times, that would be great. I have looked in a couple spots, but can't find anything. Do you have any ideas? Any help would be appreceated. Thanks! The one that works gets 10 pts.

Does anyone know how to delete the "cookies" on your computer, so for example, if you download a trial software, you can delete it, redownload it and reuse it? I got a Macintosh by the way, but still let me know if you got a PC.

I have this 4-5 year old Dell desktop and when I try to turn it on, a black screen comes up and it says that the boot volume is too big and I can't turn it on. I always have to restart it, but the same screens keep on coming up! There's always a black screen with a loading bar at the bottom and then a blue screen that tells you to restart. A computer guy says that the hard disk could be gone but I have all my important stuff on that computer like pictures. What should I do?

i did this about 3 mouth ago though windows movie maker and when i went back there to record something the record button was not there i cant figer it out i did update my computer since then dose anybody no any thing about it thanks

when I turn on my laptop computer, a Blue screen of death comes up after the BIOS screen, and the blue screen says unmountable boot volume and a whole bunch of numbers and junk. I created a formatted floppy on a different computer and got it to come up on my laptop...but I dont know what to type! I have tried chkdsk and fixboot but it wont work! will somebody PLEASE give me step by step on what to type...I'm not too much of a computer whiz, so I need domebody to please give me EVERYTHING I need to type.? first of all the reason i want to know this is i bought an old soccer game called fifa 2000 that is not compatible with win xp which i didnt realise when i bought it. the game installs but when you go to play it from the desktop a screen opens but then i get a microsoft error saying there was a fifa 2006 icd error. i have tried running incompatibility with win 95 and 98 but no good. i have also tried a few different game patches and fixes but none worked. i have tried updating drivers and also tried some sort of microsoft patch.the game patches i tried where no cd patches i thought id try them even though i have the genuine cd and the microsoft patch was for some of their old games that had similiar problem,i have since wiped all those things and done a fresh install of the game but still no good. my question is i have a 80 gb hard drive partioned into two 40gb drives can i put win98 on the 40gb partition that has nothing on it and run my game through win98.

So, about two weeks ago I noticed my laptop started to make random 'plink' sounds...kind of like when a pop up is being blocked or something....that kind of sound. It just makes the sounds...it'll just do it randomly and I cannot get it to go away. IT IS SO ANNOYING!

I have done virus searches of my computer and it has come up clean. I uninstalled a program my bf put on there, and that was not the cause. The only other thing I did different was upgrade my Webroot Spy Sweeper. What is causing this and how do I get it to go away? Please help!!

I need to partition my laptop's HD, but when I defrag w/ Norton or Diskkeeper it shows that I have many "unmovable" system files scattered all over the HD, right up to the end. I'm afraid if I try to partition it, these files may be lost and damage to OS (WinXP).
I have Norton Ghost and I thought I might ghost it to CDs. Then I could wipe the drive, partition it, and reinstall. Is that possible?

Ok i have AVG Anti Virus and in the "Virus Vault" I have a "unknown virus Exploit" and it is not healable. Do i just keep in the vault? and if i do would it harm my computer? Or do i Remove it from the vault and let it go to where it was from the start? Please Help I dont know what to do
