i did this about 3 mouth ago though windows movie maker and when i went back there to record something the record button was not there i cant figer it out i did update my computer since then dose anybody no any thing about it thanks
also is there any webist i can download something to make audio files

Assuming you have microphone to record.....
Audacity is a very good software for recording available for free at audacity.sourceforge.net.
It supports recording to wav and also to mp3.
There is no time limitation for recording.

i think i no what u mean. i think u need a mic and use. sound recorder software 2 do it
