hello all,
I'm working in the field of official statistics, and we often need to publish data on the web on tabular form. The problem is that very often, the tables are wider than the screen of the reader. But to the best of my knowledge, there is no universal, elegant solution to let the viewer explore a table, that is scroll through a table while keeping the title part of the table (top rows, leftmost columns) always visible.
This problem is becoming more acute with the need to publish on smaller devices.

To sum things up, I'm looking for a component I could use to take a table structured in XML, and display it in a delimited space, where I could scroll in the table although the parts of my table defined as title would always remain visible.

Has anyone heard of an existing solution?

I started a Cybercafe wth just 8 computers in a 250 sq.ft space.?

How do I test my max bt line speed for broadband?

I have 1.1mb broadband, but want to know the max possible I can get as i would like the 16mb you get with sky. I know there are tests telling you the speed you have now, but I need one that can tell me whether I can get 16mb broadband.

Ebay users- how have your buying experiences been?

My fiance and I have ordered our engadegment ring on ebay and also some other important items, we were carefull in selecting our items as far as reading about the sellers information and the items we ordered looked legit. I want to know- how long do these things take to get here, and also will it be what it says it is?..the ring is supposedly .50 carrots and 14k gold from a jewelry store. (beutifull ring set) Im just curious because Im new to the ebay world. I wold like to hear good and bad experiances and what you think about my purchase?

Is it much to require PAYMENTs before shipping the ebay goods?

Hi,

i dont know why but transferring through middle banks arent really trustful for me.. And i always require my buyers to pay upfront and make sure the goods money is in my bank account before shipping it.. Do u think its a bit too much to ask on ebay?

I really dont want to get conned..besides, i sell hightech laptops/PDA/Ipods and stuff...

Its too risky for me too...

And what i mean by transfer into my account, i meant by when it is USABLE and i already can withdraw the money before i ship the stuff...
Is that bad?

Why aren't you children in school? You're too young !?

90% of all the questions on here are from children. You are too young to be on a website talking about sex and dating. Your questions tell everyone this! Why aren't you in school learning how to spell the words correctly and growing up before you try to be an adult? Your parents should be arrested for allowing you to sit on the computer talking about having sex and other things you know nothing about ! You create alot of problems involving yourselves in adult topics. If you only could realize how ridiculous you look asking some of the questions you do and on top of it all,you can't even spell! Hi Guys,
I recently got this news that there is some site coming up for a centralize admissions to various collleges and universities, with an online payment as well as offline payment mode.
And you can get admit cards also online.
Does someone knows the name of website... its something like forms or something like that...
Wish it comes soon so that there is no need to stand in queues and fill up multiple forms
