My fiance and I have ordered our engadegment ring on ebay and also some other important items, we were carefull in selecting our items as far as reading about the sellers information and the items we ordered looked legit. I want to know- how long do these things take to get here, and also will it be what it says it is?..the ring is supposedly .50 carrots and 14k gold from a jewelry store. (beutifull ring set) Im just curious because Im new to the ebay world. I wold like to hear good and bad experiances and what you think about my purchase?

nicey,

i hope you paid through PAYPAL with a CREDIT CARD.

that way, if anything goes wrong, you can file for a CHARGEBACK.

do not let your deadlines for filing a complaint pass you by and you should come out all right.

It will all depend on the seller. I've been buy stuff from ebay for years and I'd guess about 98% of the transactions go smooth. Generally, it takes about a week to get the stuff.
Be sure to check out their history. Email if you have any questions about the product.Good luck and have fun!

It is highly likely if you order from a seller with a lot of good feedback and virtually no bad feedback that you will get a good deal, though some sellers take their own sweet time in shipping.

Buying from other sellers with bad or no feedback can be a nightmare.

It depends on what shipping method they use, could be next day, could be a week or so. I have had very good experiences. As long as you buy from a reputable seller and look the item over carefully, you should be fine.
