I'm assuming you are downloading it using P2P file transfer software. If nobody has the second half of the song, you cannot download it. You are downloading off of other people, so you are relying on them to have the full file and also to be online.

if you r on P2P then try another P2P Programs like limewire frostwire etc. if you r on the web and tried to download song then may be your server problem or connection problem try some Download manager like Flashget,Rightget etc

try downloading firefox browser and then try out the download

download DAP(download accelerator) .it will never stops on downloading anything.i have experienced this prob.

it might stop because either the internet network is busy or it is being interrupted by other pop-up blocks
