I am having trouble downloading things onto my computer such as games, movie clips etc. (all paid for obviously). When I get half way through the download my internet stops working and I have to reset my computer to get the internet back.

I have ask my internet provider and they have told me it is not the connection but something on my computer stoping me, maybe an option in "controle panel" or something.

Please help I am so confused!

P.S, sorry for the spelling.

I haven't been able to connect with ebay ALL day. Just keep getting timeout. Is it my computer, ISP or is ebay down. I tried connecting with Firefox and IE both and get a timeout from both. If it's my computer blocking the website, how can I fix it?

I won an auction on ebay and i paid for it literally 5 mins later. The seller is VERY slow shipping my item and i want to leave negitive feedback but she hasen't left feedback for me yet.

I did my part i gave her a VERY fast payment. Why didn't she leave me my feedback already??? I hate it when ppl do this $hit!!!
When i sell something i leave feedback for that person right away!!!

Hiya. I was checking my emails when i got this really weird one from a donal butler.It said the directors of MSN were shutting down Hotmail because of abuse by users.But for £10 a month i could still use it.Now i know this is a scam as MSN wouldn't shut down Hotmail like that.But i can't help thinking is something going on? My other half is in the USA on business & i use Hotmail. I wouldn't like to think we're gonna be out of touch.Any one out there with any thoughts? Thanks.Jackie.

I live in Philadelphia, but all help is welcome. Here's the dilemma. I need to use my laptop at home but more often, away from home. I have a PC card already and can pick up hotspots fine. But on my job, there is no internet connection available. [This is where I want to primarily use my personal laptop (not the company's)]. If I purchase a $50-90 broadband access plan from Tmobile or Sprint etc. will I be able to access the internet at my job (on my personal computer) throughout the day? Will there be a good connection? (Just so you know- my company has taken email monitoring and restrictions to another level and I can't see myself sitting there for 8 hours and being unable to visit all of the great people on Yahoo). Thanks

What is the MySpace etiquette (particularly among professionals, such as the musicians) for posting "Thanks for the add" graphics - custom graphics, mind you, that don't sparkle or flash, but denote that I am a musician as well? Are these appropriate only when someone else requests to add me? Or also when I request and they approve? Or is this just not done on non-personal MySpaces?
