How can I download things on my computer?

Question

I am having trouble downloading things onto my computer such as games, movie clips etc. (all paid for obviously). When I get half way through the download my internet stops working and I have to reset my computer to get the internet back.

I have ask my internet provider and they have told me it is not the connection but something on my computer stoping me, maybe an option in "controle panel" or something.

Please help I am so confused!

P.S, sorry for the spelling.

If you're using Windows or Linux (it has Wine), use a download manager - it will resume your downloads.

Try Flashget: http://www.flashget.com/
Download it.
Install it.
Paste the link in it.
Let it download.
Open it in c:/downloads (default directory where it keeps downloaded files)
