Use url re-writing, sessions or beans to accomplish this.

If your website is written in a language like PHP, store a "logged in" flag in the user's cookies when they fill in their username/password, then check that the cookie exists on every page.

You may also do this with sessions instead of cookies Sessions are deleted when the user closes their browser but cookies do not.
