A homepage switches off if I don't use it, but I don't want it! It is an online dictionary (www.finnhun.com), so sometimes I don't use it but I working on computer. Why does it this? What should I do?

I get a lot of these e-mails that ask me to forward the message to as many people as possible. Most of the times it's about a sick child where the parents can't pay for the treatment costs, and they claim that AOL, Verizon etc. gives them 5 cents for every forwarded e-mail. I wonder first of all how this would work?
I mean, what's in for AOL, Verizon etc. when someone forwards e-mails? Or is this a "phishing" trick?

My school's server blocks certain sites, and this is one of them. Could you, or any of you, go to www.encyclopediadramatica.com; then type "Miami" into the search engine and copy and paste the article here? Please, it is really funny and I wanted to print it out and show it to my friend. Thanks.

already went with all troubleshooting posible with ISP Tech..you name it all...it didnt work..they even gaved me a patch # from Micrsoft KB884020...still didint work...ISP Tech told my all their network test shows 0000..modem showing DSL light solid green. modem(westell 327w) saying its connected....Im connected with other PC...is just the other PC with 169.254 IP....and obviously I just gave an example of IP..I wouldnt provied my real IP...lol

I bought an item on ebay from someone who only accepted personal checks (usually I do paypal!) so I sent him the check on November 29th for $51 dollars and the check cleared on December 1st. Now he was shipping from the states so my package should have arrived already and I have sent him numerous emails with my address in case he didn't have it and asking if he had sent my package. I thought I could trust him because he had over 8000 postive feedback. I want to do something more than leave a negative feedback, is there someway I can report him on ebay? if so, how? should I wait a full month to see if my package does come? Because what if I leave a negative feedback now and then he decides to not send it. please help!

I am nearing the end of a promotional membership of $9.95 per month for DSL. Since I already have Netzero, I will be cancelling the Earthlink service before it goes to $21.95 per month. In the past I've had to cancel with AOL and MSN and both made it into a MAJOR deal - esp. with MSN, it was almost impossible to get them to pull the plug- is Earthlink different, will it be an easy cancellation, or should I prepare for a lengthy, bitter termination process?
