What is the most creative method you have seen?

They seem to be targetting Y!A at the moment (ok I am quite new on here so may have been an ongoing thing). Other quite creative ones are adverts embedded in song downloads from Limewire. And does anybody else get that 'replica rolex', 'monday market report' and 'herbal viagra' rubbish??!

What makes me laugh tho, is does anybody every buy from these scams? I mean, hey, a stranger passes you on the street and says 'Hey, give me a tenner for these pills' do people buy them? Ok, possibly at 3am in brixton, yeah, but you get my point!

Apparently they put out such a high volume of messages that it only takes a very low percentage of replies for the operation to become profitable.

What a mad way to make money! Any comments?

I want to get broadband internet on my laptop & pc. We have the one phone number but 2 connection points. is it possible to have one broadband account and use it for our laptop & pc and use the 2 connection points? Our flatmte will be moving out in 6 months with the laptop, so i think we will need two modems. is this correct?

I want to send a big file (a concert with my band) to some other computer over the internet. I have tried with DC++ or ODC, but these programs are hard to configure. I also don't want to use torrents, since the person receiving the file does not know much about computers. What I want is a simple peer to peer application which is easy to configure and which I can use to send big files over the internet. Needless to mention, I want it to be free. Any suggestions?

I am trying to upload a 20mb video file (limit is 10min or 100mb) onto youtube.com . In the past, the uploads would start immediately with the %age and upload speed in Kb/sec showing.

But this time, it just says "uploading..." without even starting at all from 0%. I restarted the computer and tried to upload again, but it still shows the same message!

Has this occurred to others before, and how do you fix this?

I am thinking about setting up a linux home web server in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Does any one know of a high speed internet provider that gives you a static IP and allows you to have port 80 open? If anybody has succeeded at this with windows or with a dynamic IP in this area, I would also be interested in hearing about that, as well as general opinions of high speed providers in this area. I am open to either DSL or cable.

Please help me find a good kid website that is fun and I supervise so it dosen't have to be toddler. This website is for my ten year old and I want to find her a good website to play on. Also, a good chat website is good. (I also moniter that so it dosen't have to have a moniter) We tryed Millsberry and Club Penguin but got bored easyily. Please respond sincerely with no, well there is no good child website. The one with the most reasonable website and the most sincer I will vote as best anwser! So you would get 10 good points!
