By looking up the site's details using a WHOIS search, such as the one provided at http://www.whois.net/

I think this will give you the IP address:

- go to Run under the Start button.
- type CMD
- in the screen that comes up type 'ping www.yahoo.com'

This should show you the IP address of yahoo or whatever website you want.

open a command prompt, type nslookup www.domainname.com

substitute what ever domain name you are looking for.
