everytime I press the 'temporarily allow pop-ups' button, there is a sound. I have tried to turn off any obvious sound options, but I haven't found the right one because it won't stop. I listen to music constantly so turning the volume down isn't an option.

Okay when I go to this site this wordpress error page pops up and says this:

"Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down."

So, what exactly does that mean and what can I do to solve this error? Any help on this would be most appreciated. Thanks!!! ^-^

MSN seems to have captured my computer with the "Live Search" or Live.com page. I've tried changing my home page to Yahoo many times through internet tools as well as making my selection on a Yahoo page which says "Make Yahoo your home page" and gives the options to pick from... but it doesn't happen! It's frustrating as I feel that my right to choose has been denied me. I hope someone will tell me I'm wrong and there is a way to get rid of Live.com. MSN has never been my site of choice and I'm disappointed that Yahoo seems to have entered into a partnership with MSN that is closing me out. We were told that the Explorer upgrade would provide more security etc... but I have not been happy with the changes at all.

I used to have it. Once I downloaded Firefox, it disappeared (showed in View>Toolbars, but was not accessible), so I uninstalled it, and tried to reinstall it, and NOTHING.....boo hoo. Please give me the solution!!

I have SBC Yahoo DSL, but it is currently not working on my desktop pc. My internet wouldn't work at all, so I hooked up my laptop and found that the internet works on the laptop, but not on the desktop. Does anybody have any idea what's going on, and how I can fix it?

if you ever had a laptop or tower and tried to get dell service without knowing the original owners name on a used computer you know how frustrating the lack of service with dell could be. they could care less what the circumstances are and your usually stuck with an expensive doorstop if you dont have the EXACT information as it appears on dells records and not necessarily what is correct. tech blogs are of a limited help, but usually its spam or a money for membership scheme that gets little results. what im looking for is ACTUAL ideas on how to get real master passwords. please no spam or get rich quick schemes as this is a real problem. let me save you the time, im already aware you can burn the eprom but unless your real experienced with electronics, you can also blow up a comptuer. im also aware of the dos programs available on the net but they rarely work on p four and usually are so so on high end p three...again, please actual password research only, no editorial needed.

she had me log into her acct to make some adjustments for her (not very myspace litterate), and she asked me to look at an e-mail from someone she grew up with (she wanted some advice on friend drama). when i was in there i noticed she's exchanging VERY raunchy e-mails with men (she is married). She is very young, and does not know the dangerous game she is playing! She is teasing these men, thinking they can't find her, but they can! i want to say something to her, but i do not want her to know that i've been keeping an eye on these e-mails. If she were to find out she would change her password; and this is the only way i would know who has her if/when she comes up missing (which is inevidable if she keeps playing this game). if it were you in this situation, would you say something to the acct holder about safety? or should i not say anything (she's very hard headed and stubborn), and use this in the event something does happen? please no negitive responses. thank you.

whenever i sign on to AIM the little box in the corner comes up and says "you have 15 unread emails" and when i click on it it goes to the AIM Mail page and it loads everything except the emails and then a window comes up that says "there was a problem loading this page. if this problem persists go to this site" and then it shows the site. but when i clicked on it i didn't find the solution to my problem. how can i fix it cuz i want to check my AIM mail!!!!
