I have SBC Yahoo DSL, but it is currently not working on my desktop pc. My internet wouldn't work at all, so I hooked up my laptop and found that the internet works on the laptop, but not on the desktop. Does anybody have any idea what's going on, and how I can fix it?

Hi. It sounds like your network card or modem card may be at fault. Can you try removing it and replacing it. If not, go to your control panel, system, hardware manager and uninstall the device in software. Reboot and see if that works. Good luck.

Check your connections on the desktop, also reboot your router and modem, unplug both and reset after at least 5 minutes of them being off, sometimes, this is all it needs.

I think it is a problem with the network adapter no the internet.
