Go to Tools...Internet Options...Delete Cookies...
You may also want to delete your temporary internet files...
But when you delete your cookies...you may also loose automatic logins and such...just make sure you have passwords to everything if you rely on them being stored

Okay, most of these answers will get rid of most of your cookies.
(Good Job, Folks.)

As previously advised, open IE (Internet Explorer)
Click on "Tools" on the top tool bar.
Click on "Internet Options".
In the middle of the window that opens, Click on "Settings".
On the settings window choose the middle button, "View Files".

This will open a "Temporary Files" window showing all your temporary files (cookies, pages you've been to and lots of stuff you don't need but the computer holds onto).

In this window click on "Edit" and then "Select All".
Every entry should turn blue (or whatever your highlight color iis).

In this window, select "File" (while your files are still blue) and choose "Delete. It may ask for a confirmation...choose yes.

Once the window is empty (time depends on amount of files)
close it and click "Okay" on the settings window.

Now click on "Delete files" and make sure to click in the "Delete All Offline Content" box. Now click "Okay".

One last step, Go to "History" (set it at zero unless you need to know what you clicked on the past x number of days) and select
"Clear History" tell it "Yes".

When it is done click "Okay" at the bottom of the page and your done!

This is the most thorough way to clear cookies and get going,
after a try or two it will become easy to remember how it's done.

If you had ALOT of temp files to delete, you may want to do a restart to see the speed change. This is the

the answer of your question is no (yes if you had done browsing for years)
cookies usually come in only a small files.

you can tune up your computer by:
1) add more ram
2)right click on my computer -- properties -- tab advance -- perfomance (button setting)
on tab visual effect, you can turn off some unnecessary features
on tab advance -- on virtual memory (button change), change the virtual memory to system manage size (or you can customize yourself)
3)defrag your harddrive (start -- all programs -- accessories -- system tools -- disk defragment tools)
4)clean your registry (only if you often do some install and uninstall softwares, there are some applications that can do registry cleanup)
5)use good anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-spyware, etc if you like to browsing around (to keep your pc safe from the attack that can also slowing down the performance)
6)start -- run -- type: msconfig -- tab startup, uncheck some unnecessary applications that you don't really need -- required restart). the trick is you can see from which folder name they are starting from to determine the application name
7)delete some cookies (above guys answer) + temporary files (from my computer -- right click on c drive -- properties -- tab general -- disk clean up -- check the temp file that you want to delete

good luck to try!

No. If you are using Internet Explorer, go to Tools\ Internet Options\ General Tab\ Settings There you can adjust how much disk space you have set aside for cookies and internet files. Most often, there is more space than you could ever use. If you do manage to fill it, then your browser cannot save things, so it will forget what it is doing from time to time, and generally act stupid. If your computer is running slow, spyware is probably your problem. Spybot and AdAware are both good, free spyware removal tools. Try downloading them.
