my sister went on my laptop and made an account using my email address. I don't know what she did, but now i'm banned and can't log on.....is there anything i can do to get my account back? thanks! *Val

also, when i go to the site i can't even see the home page. All it says is "sorry, you've been banned from this site"

If she used your email account, then you should have an email from the moderator who banned her or a notice, warning or something.
Email the moderator back and inform then of what happened and also find out what did your sister do in order for her account to be banned so swiftly....and also explain that you guys are two different users sharing the same computer.
More than likely they won't buy it, and your screwed (unless you go to your neighbors house to log in to see if your account is still active).
They probably have your Mac address to IP filtered out already (which is why you can't even get on the home page anymore from your terminal)
Delete all your cache and temp files/history and try to bring up their site again. (50/50 though) I'd say email them and inform them of what happened.
BAN your sister from your terminal also.

Hi. Not usually. The folks who run forums are usually volunteers and not judges. If you (or someone pretending to be you) breaks a rule it easier to just block you. Set up another account with a different user name and email. Naughty sister!

Wow, that very bad of her. You can go back to your first account email of the forum that they send to you. Check on the administer email and send your apologies to them of what has happen maybe this can clear you of your account. Good Luck

well, the forum tracks you by your IP address
because that same thing happend to me
just go to customer service or support
and explain it
maybe u can get it back
that is the only way
there is no way to change your IP address
