My friend told me I could download music, movies, games, and more on this website http://www.musicdownload.net/registration_movie.php, but when you go to the site it doesn't list any of the movies I can download and it says I can pay a one time fee for a 1 year, 2 year, or 10 year membership. I want to try it but I am afraid it will be a rip off. What do you think. Thanks.

Anyone know of ways to improve a website's ranking from major search engines? I know in the past people used to stuff all sorts of keywords into the headers, and there are services which charge to improve ranking but I'm pretty sure they are mostly scams. Anything useful to do, besides advertise the site?

i like firefox but i'm afraid that if it becomes too popular, then the advertisers hackers spammers will start attacking it instead of IE. Don't get me wrong, i want Firefox to be known, but if it starts getting exploited, might have to switch to Opera or Maxthon or whatever...Thanks for your responses.

I've downloaded Internet Explorer 7, which can now be seen in "Add/Remove Program" list, but for some rather bizarre reason, it's NOT appearing on my Start Menu & Desktop. This happened earlier, so I uninstalled it, thinking reinstalling will ASK me if I want it on my "start menu" along with on "desktop" but I didn't come across an option that actually ASKS me so.

I then located the "iexplorer.exe" icon in Internet Explorer folder within the Program Files & then copied it pasted it on "Desktop" along with in the "start menu" but when I click on it, it DOES NOT open the Internet Explorer browser, which is yet a mystery, I'm afraid. However, when I click on "iexplorer.exe" icon in the Internet Explorer folder in the Program Files, it DOES open the Internet Explorer browser.

Surely, the last thing I'd want to do is to open an Internet Explorer this rather lengthy way (going to Program files & then Internet Explorer & then double-click on "iexplorer.exe" icon).

Can anyone help?

I have people pc and recently I got on and it said page cannot be displayed.I use internet explorer 6.Anyway it wont go to ANY pages.It says cannot find server.This did happen before I awhile ago and my brother fixed it for me but he forgot how he did it.Anyway I tried everything,I went to the internet options and we both did everything we could think of.But its been like this for about a week now.So if ANYONE can tell me how to fix this I will be very appreciative and if your suggestions work I will give you the points.And just a reminder I have already gone into the internet options and tried everything.

It's happened to me a couple of times now where I get random MySpace friend requests from total strangers with whom I have nothing in common. Some of them are obviously the equivalent of spam, wanting me to look at some naked woman's webcam or something, but others are from seemingly normal people whom I don't know at all. I'm not even active on MySpace---how do these people find me and why do they want to be added to my friends list?
