i live out in the country in the state of NC...anyone that may know a DSL internet provider?

most of them do not have service out in the country, that is why i am asking if there is one out there. i do not want satellite - they are to expensive......

Check with Verizon. I know they are prominent for DSL lines in western NC. Below is a link where you can type in your phone number and Verizon will do a check to see if it's available where you are.
