how can you watch shows on the computer without watching youtube?

please dont talk about youtube and it has to be free other than the fact that you have to pay to use internet but i mena no extra cost

When you say shows I assume you mean TV shows? Bittorrent is among the most popular ways to get videos of TV shows. You can go to bittorrent.com for software and then some place like torrentspy.com to find an index of TV shows for download. You get the .torrent file for a show and then it downloads. Once it's done you can watch it on your computer.
