Internet - July 2006

I peeked at what I shouldnt have. Now I put in the letter c in the browser address bar and explorer shows every website or search for that starts with c. Ive tried erasing with certain parts of explorer but when I look under "c" again it shows all the websites still! How can I permanently erase the sites seen. dumping cache doesnt erase it, help!?

I work retail, and I put alot of time into researching a request of a certain interested customer. When I finally found what he was looking for, I called the number he left, but I must have copied it wrong. I have an old address of his, but I don't want to mail a courtsey letter if it isn't his. How can I find out who lives at this address on the net without a charge or membership fees? Please help. An amazing sale depends on this.

i noticed my niece typing this way to me along time ago? she is very intelligent, so i figured there must be some intelligent reason for this. while i am asking what might seem like a stupid, elementary question to some....i am new to yahoo today. how do people get those little icon-looking pictures in their photo id box? and what is this about adding my question to messenger status? My desktop is hard wired to it and it works fine but my laptop has a wireless connection with the router...

Link quality and signal strength are both 100% but it still won't let me connect to the internet.

I would like to know if there is a way for me to save some video clips that i have on the internet. I know that I could save pictures on the internet by going to yahoo! pictures, but what about video.
I dont use the video for any websites, I just feel better if I have it saved on my computer and the internet.

If you can read my last posted question. My computer was only frezzing while on the net. I was able to get rid of some of the tepary files. there are some left and nortons will not delet them. I dont know what is with that. the only thing that it is telling me is:
Temporary File:C\DOCUME~\Melissa\LOCALS~l\Temp\LEC14.tmp
and
Temporary File:C\WINDOWS\Temp\_ISMP2.DIR\ISTMpO.DIR\value.shl

I have no cule what any of that means.
All I know is that I let my biyfriend on my Laptop and I have gotten it back with problems!!
