Internet - July 2006

I was living in the U.S and moved to Scotland, now all I get is the U.K. yahoo, and cannot access my Yahoo or Yahoo mail in the U.S.A.
I am on their BT Broadband which seems to dictate what I access, and I would like to be able to avail myself of my old system in the U.S.
How can I do this from here?
I have tried to punch in yahoo.usa.com, and all I get is a listing of places and stuff from the U.S.
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,
I'm from Chennai/ India. I jus wanna know wat's the minimal internet speed required for chatting(yahoo/msn, with webcam, voice) and casual browsing. Should I go for 128 Kbps or 256 Kbps ? People from Chennai and other parts of India who use any of the ISPs can send in comments/suggestions/explanations.

iv recently downloaded dc plus plus on my computer it said it was a music downloading site but it turns out its not its just a software site and now it has charged me 30 pounds from my bank wot can i do can i cancell the transaction before it comes out of my account or am i screwed.

i just bought all the webs from a friend including his ip address. I Alredy operate an adsense account.Now my friend told, from this ip he made an adsense account and had one web and was disabled for clicking his own advt or something.Now i removed all the codes in the web.Can i add this web tomy account.He got the domain name,But i am the mannager,I controll,i can change the codes.How do you think ,Can i add this web to mine?Thanks.

I have DSL through my phone line. I operate using Windows XP. My service provider ISP number starts with 198. When I lose my internet connection (usually within one hour) I cannot reconnect because my computer has changed my ISP number to start with 255. The only thing that I know to do is to restart my computer, which works but is a major pain in the rear. WHY does my computer do this and what PRECISE steps can I take to fix this problem?

I know how to post a bulletin on myspace but I came across a really cool one that had a background and the font color and size was changed. How do you do that. My experimenting has got me pretty much nowhere. Im just curious...would like to make a more interesting looking bulletin to go with the stupid things that go along with it. Please no rude remarks!
