I peeked at what I shouldnt have. Now I put in the letter c in the browser address bar and explorer shows every website or search for that starts with c. Ive tried erasing with certain parts of explorer but when I look under "c" again it shows all the websites still! How can I permanently erase the sites seen. dumping cache doesnt erase it, help!?

Use the program called Crap Cleaner.or just go to their link...www.ccleaner.com..download and run it, but be careful. This deletes everything from the explorer...cookies, temp internet files..adressbar. It might take a while the first time though, no worries.

Clear History
Do Disk Cleanup
Clear Cache

Go into your internet options, and change the time to keep pages in the history. If you set it to 1 day today, and bump it back up to what you want in a few days, it should clear out the history on its own.

close all IE windows / control panel / internet options icon / content tab / auto complete option ... read carefully and decide
