IMing won't load right it always gets to 3percent and quits help I need it

I would like to try Ebay's auctions sometime. However, I am quite cautious on my account info being compromised (in other words, I send out some kind of personal information, and somebody uses it for some "unknown" purpose, you know, identity theft or some such.) What is the safest way to send money if I win an auction, or if I buy the item? Is it personal check? Paypal?(Whatever that means) Or something else? Please respond!

I can access some sites (like Yahoo! Answers) but most everything else freezes up on me. The only thing it lets me do is "x" out the screen, then I get that message that says "program is not responding". When I click "end now" it just kicks me off internet explorer. What can I do? My Yahoo! and AIM messengers are working fine also. ARGH!

My internet explorer displays the page error with any page i try to connect to. my messenger runs just fine. ive tried deleting the cookies and files,doing system restore,all the suggestions provided on the page. please help me!!! this is a 3 month old laptop and worked fine the 1st month...then just started doing this one day, and has been for the past two months. its a dell inspiron 1200....can anybody help????

ok 2 questions:
is there a way of deleting what you write to people via chatrooms or emails...my parents are eluding there is andd they ccan read what I write, and to be honest it pisses me off that people can/would do that. so any way to delete that>?

ALSO if you chat on msn, is there anyway that the people you'[re chatting w/ can figure out where you're typing them from.......this one guy got all creepy on me and it's freaking me out, and I just wnat to make sure he can't find me. I don't want to press charges or anything so please don't suggest that :P lol HELP ME With answers

I am getting so tired of struggling to understand what people try to say on the internet. I'm not talking about getting lazy with capitalization, I'm talking about putting numbers in the middle of words (gr8), dramatically altered spelling (watz up?!?), or abysmal sentence construction (hey u think i lose weight people like me more better?). The trend seems to be getting worse and worse. I'm sure it can't be good to expose so much of our youth, who are still refining their English, to this abomination of our language. It is slowly creeping into business emails and class work.

What can be done about this? How do we reverse the process? Why don't people realize that typing liek ths makes them look ignorant, lazy, and completely discredits any pertinent information they're trying to express? Not to mention it is highly inconsiderate to your reader. Is it really worth saving 5 seconds on your end if it takes the reader and extra minute to figure out what you were trying to say?
