hi i replaced into on a three dongle and had an same difficulty....they are actual ineffective. I even said Alan Carr the comic on television the different evening making a comic tale about 3 and how ineffective their signal is. in the top I went to OTELLO (google it) to whinge about 3. They verify the issue and are available to a call no matter if you've a case for ending the contract. try writing to three and holding a replica of the letter as evidence. have you ever tried downloading AVG? Bring up a command window (Start->Run->Type "cmd" and hit Enter). Type "ping yahoo.com" in the window and hit enter. If you get replies back, it is your browser. If not, it is a netowrk issue and you may have to call your ISP. Another good tool in XP service pack 2 is the following command: "netsh winsock reset catalog" and then reboot.

If it is your browser, check your proxy settings by going to Tools->Internet Options->Connections->LAN Settings on Internet Explorer and enter a proxy if you have one, or clear everything from there and uncheck all boxes. If all fails, you may have to do a repair install of XP.

Hope this helps.
