I can access some sites (like Yahoo! Answers) but most everything else freezes up on me. The only thing it lets me do is "x" out the screen, then I get that message that says "program is not responding". When I click "end now" it just kicks me off internet explorer. What can I do? My Yahoo! and AIM messengers are working fine also. ARGH!

harsh reality is that it sounds like you've got a virus on your pc that deconfigurated your internet explorer, now you could go on your own and try to look for it on C:/windows/....` it's hard to spot but what you could do too is go to "start" "control panel" "appereance and themes" "folder options" ..and then .."view" select "hidden files" , and then they'll show up, 50% of the time this is how "technicians" debug a computer for 100 bucks an hour.

mine does that once in awhile but if it does it often u may have a virus when it says it isnt responding and you hit end now and it doesnt go away hit these buttons control alt delete this will bring up your task manager end the program from there. only hit tyhese buttons once if u hit thjem more than once it will bring up alot of task manager screens. also when u click end now it will kick u off. mainky have your computer checked for a virus. if u have the software yoiu can use norton anti virus and scan for viruses yourself to get it got to www.nortonantivirus.com i believe that is the site to download it. also you always need to delete cookies and clear your history atlest once a week. to do this you need togo to my computer and open internet options.

could be a number of things, i dont use IE6 but i have several customers who do and i will say that your buffer is overloading which means its running out of memory and is running really slow on your computer, but it could be a number of other problems such as a virus or your upload and download is running slow just alot of things

Cache full? Thats what it sounds like.

Either that or your hard drive is full and the pictures and stuff from webpages has no place to go.

That's a pretty stupid question. What is it that you consider "unmelodious schlock"? Oh, and the answer to your ridiculous question is "no".
