I have used it with my parents out in BC. Both for on the computer, and to call a landline phone for free, anywhere in North america.. I travel a lot ofr work so when I am in a hotel it helps me to keep in touch with my wife cheaply.

It is a great program to date, but it does take a fair amount of system resources in an older computer, and there is some delay when talking. Takes a bit to get used to, but it is very liveable.

Yes. The program works great! I was in the Bahamas and was able to call phones in the US. Try to do that with your cell phone.

I'm almost considering dropping my cell phone. Why do I need it? The cell phone is so much more expensive. But it is a little smaller than my laptop. So, I guess I'll just have to keep both.
