If you can read my last posted question. My computer was only frezzing while on the net. I was able to get rid of some of the tepary files. there are some left and nortons will not delet them. I dont know what is with that. the only thing that it is telling me is:
Temporary File:C\DOCUME~\Melissa\LOCALS~l\Temp\LEC14.tmp
and
Temporary File:C\WINDOWS\Temp\_ISMP2.DIR\ISTMpO.DIR\value.shl

I have no cule what any of that means.
All I know is that I let my biyfriend on my Laptop and I have gotten it back with problems!!

Maybe you got a virus on your computer, # 1 thing i would do is stop playing around w/ your labtop incase you break it, the 2nd thing i would do its take it to some computer expert, ex. best but the geek squad, they'll fix anything, C\DOCUME~\Melissa\LOCALS~...

You have a virus. Go to My Computer > Local Disk C > Documents and Settings > User Folder (there may be several if you have more than one login . . . follow the next directions for each folder) > Local Settings > Temp (delete all the files in this folder) and Temporary Internet Files (delete all the files in this folder).

If you don't see the folders I mentioned, follow these steps.

Start menu > Control Panel > Folder Options > View Tab > Check "Show Hidden Files and Folders.

Then, update your antivirus settings and run a virus scan.

try to msconfig it by going to start then all programs then run and type in msconfig hit run and disable all then do a disk clean up and check in control panel to see if there is anything in there under add remove programs that dont belong there

how much HARDDRIVE do you have
how much memory do you have. your computer is freezing one or two things, HARDRIVE, MEMORY. AND SPEED. YOUR computer is proboly old. and slow. to todays high speed internet. lines. it can not keep up with it. check it out

download tuneup utility2006 which is available at download.com website
and clear all ur bugs in ur comp

i would say delete every file on your computer completely and reload everything
