The best way would be to drop in a router like one of these:

Netgear

Linksys:

DLink:

They all can handle a static IP and 10 users with ease and all will give you hardware firewall protection as well.

The other option which isn't as secure, elegant or reliable is to add a second network card to one machine and fire up Windows Internet Connection Sharing. Your existing card would connect to your network as it does now and the new card would connect to the internet.

Assuming that what you are using to connect the PCs is a router, and not just a hub, set each of the computers to obtain an ip address automatically. Each should receive a different IP address from the router. It should automatically assign them a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 (If you are using 252 for the last number, then are telling the router to only give out xxx.xxx.xxx.253, xxx.xxx.xxx.254 and xxx.xxx.xxx.255 as numbers, so you could only have 3 PCs on the Internet). If you are not getting automatic IPs, then you probably only have a hub, not a router and will need to replace it with a router.

Once each PC been given an IP address by the router, go into My Network Places and run the "Set up a small or home network" wizard on each PC.

please add some additional info:

Do you have a router? Is it a router with switch? Brand and model would help to walk you through the process. What Broad Band service are you using?

What kind of switch, number of ports, etc.

If you DO NOT have a router, what OS is the main PC that is connected to the Internet (wan) running? Does this PC happen to have two network cards (nics)?

The long and short of it is you need to set up an internal network either based on DHCP or a Static scheme. Your answers would help guide you.
