Scanners

have installed the kodak software but when i got to open the photos they come up with a zig zag line through them....then when i try to open them further it comes up with an error message something about the file no longer excisting or has been moved...can anyone help

Hi all, I'm looking for a transparent clipboard, plastic, with a cover. What I need is to hold a document but to be able to close over the cover but still be able to see the front page of the document if you know what I mean. If they were the proper ones I would need maybe 100 of them

I have XP Home Edition, and I need to format because I have Trojan Horses, and too many files as it is, and I want to install XP Pro anyway. Everything I try doesnt work. The CD doesnt read (and I know the CD does work). Re-starting doesnt help. It wont go into safe mode. When I try to format it, it says I need to exit all applications that are running windows. I even used another hard drive with Win98 on it and tried to do it from there, and it says the same thing. I changed the boot record to Cd-Rom, that doesnt work. DOS doesnt work. HELP!!!!

I emailed an attachment from a scanner and it was from outlook. It wouldn't send because it said I didn't have a valid account . How do I configure it? I called the printer mfg. They told me it was a software problem, I called compuserve and they said to call microsoft. I didnt have this problem before I had compuserve mail before. I didnt have any attachement problems. I have a Dell A960 printer. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I am looking for a program in Windows XP (sp2) that will scan a document on my flatbed scanner. Windows IDs the scanner and installs a driver for it. The scanner had software that runs under 98se but the program will not install in XP and Canon, the manufacturer, will not even support it with XP drivers. I have noticed there is No Kodak imaging in XP. There is no program like it in XP? Does anyone know of a free program that will do the scanning?

I simply wish to scan this document into a word processor, and add, delete, and otherwise make changes.

I have made several attempts with this HP all-in-one printer using its buzzTwain OCR software, but the document scanned to msword is unreadable.

Can someone instruct me how to successfully scan a doc to msword, and edit the text?

On one ocassion, the doc was successfully scanned to word, but when I attempted to edit it, a "format picture" dialog box appeared. HELP

It is a formal document that has my signiture.
