It is completely legal to scan/photo any part of your body for strictly private use, but whether it's moral is another question. There's a Greek legend of someone (Narcissu) who liked to scan himself reflected in the water so much that he eventually met an untimely end. Must be a lesson in there.

It's legal to photocopy. Not sure about scanning. My scanner's only A4 so I wouldn't fit much on..........
