Can I clean it myself?

On our computer we have 2 accounts: Mine and my bro's.

When i want to print a doccument from my side it won't print and say the 'duccument failed to print'. But when i print from my bro's side it prints.

It's never been like this. And it is not a new computer or printer. We've been using the same computer and printer for 2 yrs & this never happened. I am also v. sure i didn't change any settings on my account.

Will overcleaning my print cartridges cause them to print even worse? How often can I clean my print cartridges? A lot of the time my printer only prints half of the lines. Is this because I don't clean it enough?

New cartridges for my all-in-one cost over £40, so I bought a colour printer for £28. When the ink went on that, I went back to PC World for replacements. Cost - £31.
How come?

I own a Lexmark P6250 3 in 1 printer and it has always been a reliable machine, but a few weeks ago I changed the photo cartiridge and printed several photo sheets successfully, towards the end it was giving the photos a pink hue. So I went through all the basic troubleshooting where you clean the heads and align the cartiridges and then it started printing fairly normal except that there was a green outline around the brightess parts of the photo mostly faces and teeth, a very unattractive effect.
I still had over half the ink left in the photo cartiridge and could not understand why it was doing that?

If case someone asks...the machine is about 2 years old, but prints text just fine.

Anyone have a similar problem with their machine? Thank you

I have installed my HP all in one series successfully, but when I try open up my HP Director nothing happens. I have uninstlled everything and then reinstalled it, but it still will not open up. I wanted to see how much ink I had left, but I can't do that, since my HP Director will not open up. What do you think is wrong and how can I fix it. Thanks for the help.

I love the printer. The past few times I've used it however, there are ghost prints of the words I've typed, so the documents I print look all black & smeared. I don't know where the instruction manual is, so don't know if there are buttons to push, words to type, or if I need to change a cartridge. If I do need to change a cartridge, how do I do it w/out breaking the printer. Thanks for your answer! Brenda

The paper feed on my printer takes more than one page at a time, and frequently jams. I've tried rejuvenator on the rollers, but that doesn't do anything. Anyone have a similar problem? How did you fix it?

I'm in the market for a new printer and notice that alot of them have the option to connect it to the pc with either USB 2.0 or Firewire. I know the difference between the two but what is the advantage of using firewire to connect a printer?

I need one that prints directly on individual business cards, not to a sheet of tear-offs. It needs to print nearly edge to edge on them as well. Ideally you would just stack them up like you do in an envelope feed.
