I own a Lexmark P6250 3 in 1 printer and it has always been a reliable machine, but a few weeks ago I changed the photo cartiridge and printed several photo sheets successfully, towards the end it was giving the photos a pink hue. So I went through all the basic troubleshooting where you clean the heads and align the cartiridges and then it started printing fairly normal except that there was a green outline around the brightess parts of the photo mostly faces and teeth, a very unattractive effect.
I still had over half the ink left in the photo cartiridge and could not understand why it was doing that?

If case someone asks...the machine is about 2 years old, but prints text just fine.

Anyone have a similar problem with their machine? Thank you

It sounds like you have a bad cartridge. Do you have a one tank cartridge or do you have to change out different colors? This will make the difference in your photos. It has been my experience with Lexmark that they do not last as long when you print photos. It may be wise to purchase a stand alone photo printer. This may seem more costly, but will not compromise on quality of printing. I would recommend any Hewlett Packard (HP) photo printer or Canon.

Good Luck!

It sounds like it may be bad cartridges, I would take them back for replacement.
