Is A4 paper readily available in the US? Is it used often?

A4 is 210mm × 297 mm (8.3" × 11.7")

No and No .... our closest is what is called "Letter" paper ... and it is 8.5" x 11"

Letter is about the same size and it is what is commonly used in the US, A4 is like the British version of Letter paper and no it is very hard to find A4 size here in the US

It is noy readily available and readily used in the US. We use letter and legal size. You can try to go Office Depot or Office Max. You may have to go to a Minuteman Press to find specialty paper.
