Hi,
I just bought a 2-port KVM Switch. Model: DD 202. The problem I`m having is: One of my computers is Windows XP and the other is Vista. When I set it up, the mouse and keyboard will only work with the XP computer. When I press the button, I can then switch to Vista mode. It is all there on the screen, except the mouse and keyboard don`t work. The System requirements reads: DOS; Windows3.X/95/98/9SE/2000/ME/XP/NT;Netware;Unix;Linux.
My wife says this may not be compatible with Vista, probably because it was made before Vista was introduced. But when I press the button, there I have Windows Vista on my screen. If it was`nt compatible, would it just not work at all, or would there be a message appearing on screen saying that it does not meet the requirements?
I am pretty sure that it does work and that I am just doing something wrong. The user manual is very basic, with the instructions consisting of just 4 lines.
Could anyone please give me some advice?
Thanks.
Tony.

I spilt a bit of tea on my keyboard the other day, and for about a day or so the buttons still worked fine, but now some of the buttons that got wet are not working, and one of them feels like it's jammed. Is it messed up permanently, or will it start working again after it's dried out?

Whenever there is a vibration nearby or I touch my monitor, the screen will fold in on itself, or becomes scrunched in either the top or bottom half. It stays like this until I move the cables around behind it, and then it starts up again in a minute or so. Is this permanently fixable?

I have a PC that has a GeForce 7950GT video card installed. It has support for 2 monitors. I just added a second monitor and used the NVidia Control Panel to set it up.

It set it up as spanned horizontally, but I do not want this. What I really want to do is use my primary monitor the way is is now (displaying the full task bar and desktop, etc.) and use the second monitor as basically a place to store things (IM, email, temperatures, etc.) so that I can still view them when I have a full screen application running on my primary monitor.

I do not want the display to be spanned across both monitors...if that happens, only half of full screen apps appear on each monitor and I don't have the second monitor right beside the primary.

Can I achieve this through the NVidia Control Panel, or do I need to configure it another way?

I have an HP lcd monitor with the soft screen - the instructions say to clean with a damp cloth - but I have two kids and two godchildren who use this computer and I'm needing something a little stronger than plain water. What is safe to use on these soft plastic screens?

I have a LAPTOP at work that can do that (DELL Latitude D800). But I am looking for a flat screen being able to display 1900x1200 native resolution that is not 24 inches and over. Is this a marketing decision from the companies?

I get headaches when I read on a computer. If I read a book I have no problem. Will installing a glare filter on my monitor solve this problem? If not what will?

Hasn't been used for a few months and now the screen display is really dar - can hardly be seen. I've tried adjusting the sttings but this doesn't work. Any ideas as to what it could be & how to fix it?

It's never been used online or connected to other devices, so can't be a virus problem....

I have a 19" LCD Monitor, this one...

http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10089660&catid=22334&logon=&langid=EN

My video card is the ATI Radeon X1650 PRO 512MB AGP...

On the box it says that these are the external connections...

5-pin D-Shell (female) VGA output
DVI-I Output

TV-Out with S-Video Connector (TV-Out Version)
VIVO with S-Video Connector
HDTV Display Support

Anyways, in the box is a coord that could go into the classical keyboard/mouse slot, not the usb one, the one with like 7 pins. The wire then leads to 3 colored wires with holes in them, that my Wii yellow, red and white coords could fit into.

Not sure what all this mess is, but is it possible to hook my Wii up to my LCD Monitor?
