You would need to have a pop up blocker enabled. Windows XP with Service Pack 2 contains a pop up blocker and it's usually enabled. Try also scanning your computer with a anti virus program such as Norton if it's installed on your system if not some companies like symantec offer a free scan off the web site of your computer to get rid of spyware and other threats

You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html
