Hi!
im planning on using UPS as an EXTERNAL BATTERY for laptop...
plug the Laptop's power adapter to the UPS :
UPS > ADAPTER > LAPTOP

-is it true that a 600watt UPS can power a laptop to 10hrs?
-is there a way to calculate battery time by using the UPS' VA rating and my laptop's wattage ?
ex: in a 520Va UPS , How long can the laptop run if it uses 40watts(example)

-any personal experiences on UPS ?

I was changing the keyboard on my laptop and when I popped the top off my computer I disconnected the rippon like thing. Now my computer gets power but nothing else. Is this fixable? How much will it cost?

I have recently taken HP Presario (notebook model v3228au).
I hv installed windows XP. I'm not able to get Display driver for it(nvidia geforce go 6150 ). What i'm getting on nvidia site is driver for Vista. Is that driver compatible for win XP ??
OR is same driver available 4 win xp?/ what i hv to do further??

Ok, so i just got a new gateway laptop and it comes with Windows Vista installed on it... I hate Vista... how do I downgrade to XP? I got the XP installation CD but I dont know how to format disk. My laptop crashed a few months ago (a Dell Inspiron, don't get one!) and I need a new one. I'm a poor college student so I have a limited budget. I bought it used from a friend of a friend, and now I can't get in touch with the original owner. It works fine otherwise, but I would like to go wireless. The Gateway website says it's available on this model, but it's not clear on whether it was optional or standard. I can't seem to install it, but I don't want to take that to mean it doesn't have one. Please tell me how to find out if one is there, and how to install it.

Everytime I use my laptop I get headaches and this tingling sensation. I put it on a table but it still bothers me. I've read on the internet that there are some special lightbulbs or something that help with this but they are expensive. Can this radiation cause cancer? I think I'm very sensitive to it, I'm concerned anybody knows? I have a brand new mac notebook.
