I want to buy a Laptop with Dual Core Processor ... But confused on whether to buy AMD Turion X2 Dual core or Intel Core Duo .. I have found 2 laptops 1 HP and 1 Acer which matches my configuration ... But on which to buy !!
HP`s Model no. is Compaq V3149AU
&
Acers`s Model no. is Acer Aspire 5103WLMi

Please suggest as the HP one is a bit Costly ....

If you really want something COST-EFFECTIVE and you do not run symmetric multiprocessing on your laptop, go for the fastest single core Intel Yonah processor and put in 2Gb RAM. You might be surprised at what it could do.

Go for HP.. It's a good product and really nice to work on..
And if you have to choose between AMD and Intel you should go for Intel. As performance wise Intel is far better than AMD and also as such there is no bad news regarding it's performance or support.

Buy HP. if it is costly also worthy.

The service support is good in India. ( at door step) Other brands no support like this.
