im trying to back up some files to a cd but when i try to open up the cd drive it says e: is not accesible incorrect function what do i do is there any other way to save the files? i do not have a floppy disk drive

my system crashed from a virus breakout on my laptop i had to borrow the windows home cd from a friend and reloaded my operating system but now at the boot menu it tells me hard drive failure imminent press F1 to ignore is this because the trojan damaged the hard drive?

i have a fairly new macbook and lately everytime i close it, it doesn't automatically go to sleep and keeps playing musiq or a movie or just stays on....is this fixable?? and please keep in mind i don't know much about computers....im not a dummy but im not exactly computer savvy....suggestions greatly appreciated

Our internet came with this little box that has numbers and stuff that blink in yellow and I thought that was so we could move the computer from room to room while using the internet. Do I just unplug the stuff in the back or what? We have the internet through our cable servicer. Oh, iti's a Dell Inspiron. Sorry, to sound like such an idiot! I wanted to watch a show that's on the internet in bed but I'd have to disconnect it, HELP! And THANKS!

I'm 12 and I have a Dell, Insprion B130 Notebook and it really sucks. I work with my father and make 1000 a month and now hav 3000 dollars and i want to buy a Black MacBook fully loaded with everything. 2GB Ram 200GB Hard drive and all the nice stuff. Im considering muying a macbook. I heard that the graphics arent that great tho. I will be getting the MLB package and watching baseball games on my macbook often. I know the screen is small and i dont care about that, how will the graphics be? Some1 told me to get at least a 128mb video card, preferably a 256mb. I see the macbook has a 64 vram or something. what is that equilivent to? Will it be good enough to give me decent quality and clarity of streaming video?

Also, I see that the macbooks are probably due to come out w/ a new version sometimes in early summer? Any reason 2 wait? or just go ahead and buy now?

i just got a new lapotop and i cant put my music from my old computer on it. I download my music on limewire. I cant burn music on a cd because my old computer does not burn cds. The reason i want my music on my laptop because i have an ipod and i want to put my music from limewire in my itunes library. I do not feel like downloading all those songs again on my laptop. Ever since I had my laptop open for 3 days in a row, it hasn't exactly been working.
Whenever I turn it on, it automatically shuts off in about 15 seconds.
Therefore, I cannot download any anti-spyware programs or do anything that requires some sort of scan.
I dusted off the fan, but it still doesn't work.

What should I do about this? Thanks guys, it means a lot.

I have an hp pavillion dv6000 laptop with the new windows vista installed into it. it works pretty well but this thing that asks if i wanna register my pc keeps poping up. i already registered using it and it keeps showing up. someone told me to find the HPRun on my startup but i can't find it. anyone know what to do?
